Premium Cigars Honoring What’s Important Now

The WIN Cigar represents a unique collaboration between our shop and Virginia Tech defensive coordinator Bud Foster, bringing together championship football tradition and premium tobacco craftsmanship. Each cigar features a carefully selected Nicaraguan blend that delivers rich, complex flavors worthy of the Lunch Pail legacy it honors. The name draws directly from Coach Foster’s defensive philosophy, What’s Important Now, a principle that shaped one of college football’s most respected defenses and now defines a smoking experience built on intention and quality. Beyond its premium construction and distinctive flavor profile, The WIN Cigar carries a mission rooted in our local community.

For every cigar purchased, one dollar supports the Lunch Pail Defense Foundation, funding academic scholarships for high school students across the New River Valley. This commitment transforms each smoke into an act of community investment, connecting Hokie pride with tangible educational opportunity. Whether you’re tailgating before kickoff, relaxing after a long week, or adding to your personal collection, The WIN Cigar offers something no other premium cigar can match: the combination of exceptional Nicaraguan tobacco, authentic Virginia Tech heritage, and direct support for local students pursuing their academic goals.

A Nicaraguan Blend Rooted in Hokie Tradition

When you visit our cigar store to select The WIN Cigar, you’re choosing a product born from genuine collaboration, not a marketing campaign. Bud Foster personally partnered with our team to develop a Nicaraguan blend that reflects the same grit and precision he brought to every defensive snap. The result is a premium handmade cigar that balances rich tobacco character with smooth finish, crafted for both seasoned aficionados and Hokies fans discovering quality cigars for the first time. What truly separates The WIN from other premium cigar brands is its mission. Every purchase directly supports the Lunch Pail Defense Foundation, turning each smoke into scholarship funding for local students. In a region where Virginia Tech tradition runs deep, this cigar connects game-day rituals with community investment, creating a product that honors the past while building the future. Whether you’re adding to a personal collection or sharing a box at Lane Stadium tailgates, The WIN Cigar delivers both exceptional quality and tangible local impact.
